The NWCCOG Economic Development District Region consists of the counties of Eagle, Grand, Jackson, Pitkin and Summit in the northwest portion of Colorado. While Routt County is not in the officially designated EDD, it is a part of the NWCCOG region, and as such, supports the EDD with member dues. Thus, Routt County is considered an ex-officio member county of the EDD, receives all EDD services, and has a seat on the EDD board. This is also the case for the City of Glenwood Springs, which is in Garfield County.
